The Core Rule
Drivers must make intentional contact with their opponent’s vehicle at least once before crossing the finish line.
First one to the finish line advances to the next round.
Race, Crash, Repeat
- Two cars leave the starting line.
- Cars must make contact at least once during the race between the 60’ and 330’ mark on the track (⅛-mile race).
- No contact is permitted after the 330’ mark or before the 60’ mark.
- First one to the finish line wins.
Racing Mechanics & Contact Rules
- Mandatory Contact: Vehicles must be “trade paint” with their direct opponent during the race between the clearly marked areas between the 60’ and 330’.
- Driver’s Door Prohibited: Intentional or careless T-bone hits to the driver’s-side door are strictly banned for safety and will cause instant disqualification.
- No Stationary Target Hitting: Drivers cannot repeatedly smash a vehicle that has already stalled, crashed, or signaled retirement.
Vehicle Modifications
- Stripped interior: all glass, airbags and headlights must be completely removed before race day.
- No full-size trucks, SUVs or vans permitted.
- No reinforced bumpers, grill guards or other aftermarket front-end protection.
Driver Eligibility & Track Safety
- Age & Licensing: Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Safety Gear: A full-face helmet, eye protection, seat belt and a flame-retardant fire jacket are mandatory.
